Blurred Vision

May 15, 2009

Believe it or not this is a picture of my daughter on our go-cart. Perhaps I should give her a talk about speed… or at least install a governor on the go-cart.

I joined Facebook

December 19, 2008

Well I broke down and joined one of the social networks.  MySpace has always been too, well, controversial, so I steer clear of it.  I did join Plaxo and LinkedIn in some time ago but they are very business specific.  So, when some people here at work join Facebook, I decided to follow suit.  You can find my profile here:

See you soon.

June 20, 2008

I just thought I’d post a couple of things a made recently. I enjoy woodworking and took a couple of classes on wood turning on the lathe. And well, here’s the out come of my efforts. And hey, if you’re family, you just might be looking at your next Christmas present.. :-) (Of course I’ll have to delete this post before then.)

We had kids!

May 21, 2008

My wife walked back in the house from checking on our pregnant goat. Just a few minutes later she walked back out to discover one of our kid goats was already born.

Much to her surprise, mama goat wasn’t done. A second kid goat was on the way.. but, there was a problem.

The kids legs were down instead of in front. Well, it was time to intervene. My oldest son put on a long plastic glove and went in after him. He had never done this before but he performed like a champion. Once the kids legs were pulled forward, out he came! Here’s a picture of the action. Great job Son!

Ironically my son named him ‘Smoothie’
